Course Overview
The price can be high on the weekends, but it is a resort course and the higher prices come with it. For $80 a round, we will generally look to some of the other top courses in Charlotte (see our Top Courses page). However, when we can get a reasonable rate, we jump on the opportunity. You’ll see the occasional 2 for $80 (Sunday-Thursday), which is well worth it. If you have the Ballantyne Corporate (BCP) card, you can play on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s for $25, starting at 4:45pm. Just make sure to book it in advance so you can get one of the earlier tee times. This will be your best shot at finishing 18. We had the first tee time and barely could see our approach shots on the last hole.
They’ve been talking about the course closing for years, but progress is finally being made. You’ll see a bunch of construction going on around the course, which will all be eventually torn down to build apartments and other retail buildings. It’s always a fun time to get out there and it will be missed by many. Make sure to get out there while you still can.
If you’re looking for lessons, we would highly recommend going to the Golf Academy that is on the other side of the driving range. They have a 2- and 3-day golf school that is top notch. We did it a few years back, and it’s a great way to improve all aspects of your game. Their instructors come highly experienced and knowledgeable, and the facility is remarkable.
Signature Holes:
#5 Par 5, 520yds, Handicap 13 – Your tee shot will funnel way left on the only par 5 on the front 9, so make sure to aim towards the right side of the fairway or even the rough. With a good tee shot, you could get there in two. The green is elevated with a building on the backside. Very fun hole!
#10 Par 3, 160yds, Handicap 14 – A nice par 3 to start the back 9. You have to carry the water, and a lot of wind on this hole can make it a challenging one (see photo below). Stop by the snack bar after this hole for a cold one 😊

#12 Par 5, 480yds, Handicap 18 – This is not a long hole, and the easiest hole on the course, but its surrounded by office buildings, which makes this a memorable one (see photo below). Make sure to club up on the approach and you should have a good look at birdie here.

#17 Par 5, 520yds, Handicap 10 – For some reason this seems to play the hardest for us. Would love to know how many balls go in the water per day on the left side of the fairway. A miss right is usually playable and can advance enough to have a go at it in 3. The fairway is narrow, so playing an iron and a 3 shot hole could be the way to go.
#18 Par 4, 420yds, Handicap 6 – This hole is a beautiful finishing hole. You have a great view of the hotel in the background with water and a nice fountain in the middle of it.
