Doug Spencer had us out to his golf academy to show us all he and his staff have to offer the golfers in the area.  Doug relocated to Charlotte in January from Ohio, where his other Spencer Golf Academy location exists.  Even though it is located at a private golf facility, the academy is open to the public.

Doug coaches at every level of golf and has traveled across the world to teach golf, including 2 years in South Korea and Hawaii working for Top 100 Teacher, Brian Mogg.  His experience is exceptional and has been recognized for his work, receiving the following accolades:

• 2016-2020 Golf Digest Best Teacher in State (Ohio)
• 2017-2019 Golf Digest Best Young Teachers in America
• 2018 Southern Ohio PGA Player Development Award
• 2017 U.S. Kids Top 50 Coach in America

We also had the chance to meet Matt Cannon, who has been teaching golf for 15 years and played professionally for 12 years.  He won over 70 professional golf tournaments and learned a lot throughout his career which directly correlates to his instruction.
