Golf Tournament @ Sequoyah National Golf Club

2022 Golf Tournament at Sequoyah National Golf Club in North Carolina.  Hosted by Bag Tour  The format for this event is a 2 man Texas scramble.

Registration: 11:00am

Start Time: 12:00pm

Registration Includes: Tournament entry, Contest & Prize pool entry, Cart Fees, Green Fees, & Unlimited Range access.

 This event is OPEN to the public.

 All skill levels are welcome.

Flighted by handicap.

Purse: $3000 (based on field of 60 players)

Format: 2 Man Tx Scramble

Both players will tee off. Players will select the best drive and both players will play their second shot from that location. Each player will play their own ball for the remainder of the hole. The best score of the two players will be recorded as the team score.

Optional Side Games: All side games are optional to the players

Putting Contest: $20 entry. 2 attempts per player. Players may pay in cash or venmo @BagTour.  Winner recieves Vessel Golf bag ($500+ value) If multiple players make the putt, there will be sudden death putt-off following the round. Putting contest will be located on practice green.

Skins Game: $20 buy-in per player. Pot distributed to winners following the round.

Skins Game: $20 optional skins game. ($20 per player, both players must be in the skins pot to be eligible to win.) This will be a team skins pot. Payed out via cash immediately following the round. If no skins are won, the skins pot will carry over to the next event. Skins must be paid via cash at the check-in table prior to the round.

Payout: There will be a payout in every flight. Payout and total number of positions paid out will be determined by total number of players, players in each flight, course fees, tournament fees, etc. Final payouts will be highlighted on the pairings sheet once tournament registration has closed. Pairings and payout total will be emailed to all players before the event.

Rules: Players may lift clean and place in their own fairway.  Ball must be played down in the rough, bunkers, & hazards.  All USGA and local rules will be followed unless otherwise mentioned before the round. Everything must be putted out. Triple Bogey Max rule. Players may play ready golf to keep up a good pace of play.

Tie Breakers: Any ties for First place in any flight will result in playoff hole(s) following the round. Any other ties will be decided by scorecard playoff starting with lowest 9 hole score (gross) followed by most birdies. If teams are still tied, Bag Tour tournament manager will make ruling on continued scorecard playoff or possible playoff hole.

Registration: Registration deadline for this event is July 4th

Cancellation Policy: All ticket and event sales are final and no cash refunds will be issued. If you are unable to attend the event, you may re-sale your ticket. In some cases, tournament or pro shop credit will be reimbursed. Please contact the event host if you cannot attend the event after purchasing a ticket.

Weather: We will make our best efforts to get the round completed in a safe and timely manner. If play is delayed or postponed, please wait until you hear from a Bag Tour official before leaving the course. If at least nine holes have been completed by all teams, the tournament will stand using teams 9 hole scores.

Pairings: Pairings and tee times will be released March 10th and emailed to all players.

Tee Boxes: Championship Flight will play the Black Tees

(All other flights will play Blue Tees)

Seniors 55+ in Championship Flight may play Blue Tees

Seniors 55+ in the Pro Am Flight may play White Tees

Food & Drink: Complimentary drinks while supplies last. Water available in coolers throughout the course. Additional Food and Beverage available for purchase in the Grill.
